Purchase & Cancellation Policy

Because we specialize in chilled, perishable sauces, our production and shipping timelines are very tight. Please review our policies regarding order changes and cancellations below.

1. Order Cancellations

We process orders quickly to ensure your sauce arrives as fresh as possible.

  • The Window: You may cancel your order for a full refund within 2 hours of placement.

  • After 2 Hours: Once this window has passed, your order enters our fulfillment cycle. At this stage, we are often already preparing your chilled packaging and we cannot guarantee a cancellation.

  • Post-Dispatch: Once an order has been handed over to Royal Mail, it is considered a final sale and cannot be canceled or redirected.

2. Amending Your Order

Need to change or update a delivery address?

  • Please email contact@signaturesauce.com immediately with the subject line "URGENT: Change to Order #[Order Number]".

  • We will do our absolute best to accommodate changes made within the 2-hour window, but we cannot make changes once the order has been packed for chilled transport.

3. Pre-Orders (If Applicable)

From time to time, we may offer "Pre-Orders" for limited-edition sauces or new product launches.

  • Payment: Payment is captured at checkout to reserve your bottle.

  • Cancellations: You can cancel a pre-order for a full refund up until 48 hours before the scheduled dispatch date.

  • Shipping: All items in an order containing a pre-order item will ship together on the date specified at checkout.

4. Right to Cancel (Perishable Goods)

Please note that under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, the standard 14-day "cooling-off" period for online purchases does not apply to perishable food items. This means that once your sauce has been dispatched, the order is exempt from the right to cancel.
